
TRANSPORT FROM KLIA/KLIA 2 TO KL CITY
Most Malaysians use Grab ride-hailing services to and from the Airport. This service is as easy as downloading an app and making a booking with the app which will show you the fixed price for the ride. You can pay with cash or credit card.

Tips : Choose a bigger car to fit your luggage (no additional price). No surcharge after midnight.
This is the cheapest and most convenient way to get to KL city at KL Sentral (Little India). Most bus shuttle services schedule are every 30 mins interval. Buy tickets from Airport Coach counters at KLIA (Ground Floor, Block C). If you land at KLIA 2, you can buy your tickets at Level 1 where you board the bus.

Tips : The ride takes more than 1 hour. Have some snacks first if you are hungry.
This is the fastest way and it takes you to KL City at KL Sentral in 28 mins ! At KLIA, buy your tickets at Level 1 and board from there. At KLIA 2, buy your tickets at Level 2 and board from there.

Tips : The last train is at 12.40am.
Airport Taxis are available in KLIA & KLIA 2. For KLIA, buy your taxi coupons at counters just before you exit the Immigration. For KLIA 2, buy your taxi coupons at Level 1 counters. Fares are fixed according to your destination to avoid any scam.

Tips : There is a 50% surcharge from 12am to 6am.

Tips : Avoid peak hours ie morning rush hours (7:30 to 9:30am) & late evening crawl (5 to 7:30pm)
Taxis are common in the city. They are easily available and stops at your destination. All Taxis are required by law to use taxi meters to avoid any scam but there are taxis who do not use taxi meters to exploit tourists. Take only taxis which use taxi meters !

Tips : If they ask for a fixed price and refuse to use the meter, walk away and look for another taxi. No need to waste time with dishonest people.
